Neighborhood House Association (NHA) HIV/AIDS Services
The Neighborhood House Association is one of the largest nonprofit social service agencies in San Diego County. NHA was established in 1914 as a settlement house that assisted immigrants transitioning into the San Diego Community. Over 100 years later, the agency has become one of the largest nonprofits in San Diego County, and has distinguished itself as a cutting-edge comprehensive human service provider.
North County Resource Center (NCRC)
CRC works to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in North County San Diego. As a provider of integrative services, CRC’s programs include a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance. All of CRC’s programs are designed to assist participants to successfully navigate their paths of safety, stability & self-sufficiency.
San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program (SDVLP)
Since 1983, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) has changed the lives of thousands of poor women, children and men throughout San Diego County. A private, non-profit organization, SDVLP is the county’s oldest and most comprehensive pro bono legal services program.
The Center for HIV Law and Policy (CHLP-HIV)
The Center for HIV Law and Policy challenges barriers to the rights and health of people affected by HIV through legal advocacy, high-impact policy initiatives, and creation of cross-issue partnerships, networks, and resources. We support movement building that amplifies the power of individuals and communities to mobilize for change that is rooted in racial, gender, and economic justice.
