amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, Clinical Trials, HIV education & prevention and peer advocacy. Since 1985, amfAR has invested nearly $550 million in its programs and has awarded more than 3,300 grants to research teams worldwide.
Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD)
These facilities are offering primary comprehensive HIV care, prevention, LGBTQ health services such as programs specifically designed for gay men of color, Prep navigation, transgender-informed health care, free HIV testing, ADAP enrollment, case management, dental and hygiene care, education and prevention, LGBTQ services, medical care, OA-HIPP enrollment, peer advocacy, Ryan White Care and transgender health.
Frontline AIDS
The frontline of HIV is not a single, fixed thing or location; it is everywhere, across continents, spanning generations, and within different people and communities. Like water, the frontline of HIV ebbs and flows, moves and shifts, has moments of calm and times of turbulence.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) San Diego
The National Alliance on Mental Illness in San Diego (NAMI San Diego) is the community’s voice on mental illness. We are a part of grass-roots, nonprofit, national NAMI organization, and also an affiliate of NAMI California. NAMI San Diego was founded in 1978 by family members of people with mental illness.
National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC)
NMAC leads with race to urgently fight for health equity and racial justice to end the HIV epidemic in America. America is a just, innovative and compassionate country for people living with and at-risk for HIV.
North County Resource Center (NCRC)
CRC works to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in North County San Diego. As a provider of integrative services, CRC’s programs include a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance. All of CRC’s programs are designed to assist participants to successfully navigate their paths of safety, stability & self-sufficiency.
San Ysidro Health Centers (SYHC)
San Ysidro Health has two HIV Coordinated Services Centers – CASA HIV Program ( Coordinated, Assistance, Services and Advocacy ) in the South Region and Our Place HIV Program in the Southeastern Region. These centers offer a comprehensive array of quality HIV services in a caring and supportive environment.

Our site exists because the best chance for surviving and thriving beyond a cancer diagnosis is to be an educated consumer. We learned the hard way that there is no single place which has unbiased information covering the financial, legal and practical aspects of living through all stages of life after a diagnosis - starting with summaries and much less on an individualized basis.
