HIV Advocacy
AIDS United
It all begins with an AIDS United’s mission is to end the HIV epidemic in the United States. AIDS United envisions a time when all people, governments, and organizations commit to ending the epidemic and strengthening the health, well-being, and human rights of everyone impacted by HIV.
AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC)
AVAC works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention tools as part of a comprehensive and integrated response to the epidemic. We offer Education & Prevention, HIV Advocacy and HIV/AIDS Information.
HIV.gov
HIV.gov collaborates with departments and agencies across the Federal government to provide HIV/AIDS-related information to users. HIV.gov receives planning guidance from the Federal HIV/AIDS Web Council (see below), a cross-agency planning group, and uses a communications plan to guide its activities.
National AIDS Treatment Advocacy Project (NATAP)
Alot of HIV organizations advocate for the HIV/AIDS community to ensure they get the treatment they need to survive. Without them none of the services offered today would be possible. Patient rights go hand in hand with advocacy which provides certain services or benefits.
MPACT Global
MPact Global Action for Gay Men’s Health and Rights was founded in 2006 as The Global Forum on MSM & HIV (MSMGF) by an international group of activists who were concerned about the disproportionate HIV burden being shouldered by gay and bisexual men.
UNAIDS Switzerland
UNAIDS provides the strategic direction, advocacy, coordination and technical support needed to catalyst and connect leadership from governments, the private sector and communities to deliver life-saving HIV services.
