Pride Parade
Who doesn’t love a parade? POZabilities started the Long Term Survivor’s contingent in the San Diego Pride PArade and has won awards for the best HIV themed unit several years running! Stay tuned, we’ll be there again and you can join us, whether you are positive or a supporter!
Potluck Dinners
Holidays are a time for community to join together. POZabilities hosts a potluck dinner each Thanksgiving and Christmas for anyone to attend. All are welcome and we have a great time with wonderful food from some amazing amateur chefs. .
Picnics
Several times during the warmer months, POZabilities will host a picnic in the park. Weenies are provided (!), games aboud. Bring a chair and a dish. Don’t forget your appetite and sunscreen.
Movies
The second Tuesday of each month is Movie Night! This potluck event is hosted by group members on a rotating basis. Sign up is managed through the coffee sign-in book. A more adventurous group, the Movie Mavens, ventures out to the theaters for movies on occasion. We also get tickets to some of the local theatres that we make available as they become available. Join the group for one of these fun events!
Road Trips
Several times a year, we load up and head out for a group road trip. We may board a boat for a sail or a bus for a trip to someplace interesting. Recently we visited the Academy Awards Museum, the train museum in Campo and sailed on the San Salvador. Join our social media to find out what's next!
