The healthy Living programs are generally open enrollment through the year. Although not required we would ask that you register to attend so that we can plan availability of equipment and food for cooking demos. Some events also may have limited space. Registration for general classes and special events can be found in each section below when an event is scheduled. You can also check our calendar to see what is planned.

βThe healthy Living nutrition and exercise programs started with an observation about my own journey with HIV and Aging.β
My health was declining, partly due to side effects from the older HIV drugs. I had gained weight and was out of shape. I decided it was time to make a change.
I cut out the things in my diet that were not helping me be healthy; carbs, sugar, salt and fat. I focused on good protein and a balanced diet and started working with a trainer. Within 6 months I had lost 25 pounds and within a year my numbers were better than I remember them ever being.
These programs provide the pieces necessary for others to take control of their health and form the habits that can make a difference in our lives.
