The UCSD AntiViral Research Center (AVRC) and HIV Neurobehavioral Research Program (HNRP) both have ongoing studies for those folks interested in participating. Many of the life saving treatments and understanding of HIV and it’s effects on the body have been gained through this type of research, so it’s important that PLWA continue to participate in this research as it makes sense in your life.
